Baby It's Cold Outside....

It snowed last night....well, iced more like it.

Hasn't stopped Sophie from trying to go outside to make a snowman....





 

You know, when we first moved to Missouri everyone kept talking about how you get 4 true seasons....so far it's reminding me a lot of north Texas.  2 days ago it was 68 out....which feels really nice.  And this morning there's snow and ice on the ground.....spastic weather?  Yep, just like Texas.  That or the weather has decided to play along so that I felt more at home this winter...  :)

    These are beautiful!! I've been nervous to break out the color mist, but I think these have finally convinced me to try. I love that you used so many different textures! Beautiful!

    Your winter scene cookies are beautiful...just like a painting! We are getting snow, freezing rain and hail here today. It's pretty but treacherous.

    I live in the DFW area and know exactly what you are talking about with the weather. I must say you just burst my bubble though. We are moving to MO next year and I was really looking forward to 4 seasons! LOL

    Missy, I think that might depend on where in MO you move to. We live in Joplin. Perhaps we are too far south to have 4 seasons. Maybe the further north you go the more definite the seasons will be...?

    Your cookies are always so beautiful! I really love the simplicity of the frosting on the "naked" snowflake and those snowscene cookies are amazing! Like little, edible paintings!
