Beautiful Bridal Shower

Wednesday, July 11, 2012
So there isn't going to be toooooo much talking in this post.  Basically, I made cookies for a local wedding shower.  And there's not too much to say about it.  Tho, I am going to show you, in one photo, my general inspiration to design process.  Exciting, yes?  Ok well maybe not thrilling....

 I hadn't decorated cookies in....a while....

It was pretty nice to break out the piping bags again.  So safe to say I had a little fun.

My hands down fave's from this group are these:

I'm on a butterfly kick.  Seriously.  Don't be surprised if you don't see a TON more butterfly's by the time summer is over.

I'm not kidding.

Oh, here's the design photo.  Inspiration to design....

See the paper plate?  That was the inspiration I was given.  The colors were nice....all pink and blue...but it needed more.  See that tiny little green butterfly?  It's like a hidden object puzzle. Squint.  Theeere it is.  There was my excuse, to incorporate another color in a big way and to make more butterfly cookies.  Lovin' butterflies......

Anywho, I hope you enjoyed this mostly-pictures-no-point-really-except-to-look-at-said-pictures post.  :)

Your butterflies are beautiful, as are the wedding dress cookies. My absolute favourites are the white floral cookies. ~ Paula

These are too gorgeous to eat.
Do you use a KopyKake Machine? Your butterflies are all EXACTLY the same.

I bet you would get many more comments if we didn't have to go through this stupid robot. It also erases what you wrote....Can't believe you also don't hate this. This is the 7th and final time :-(

Lexy, sorry for the frustration. Comments are set to be posted after they are moderated. This is done for several reasons but mostly it protects my blog from spamming. You would be surprised how much spamming occurs when you don't have this little moderation system in place. It's REALLY annoying and I honestly don't have time to filter it. When this little robot is on I get just about zero spam. This just makes the blog a nicer place for everyone. I know it requires a little more effort on the commentor's part, but it's really a safety measure. I appreciate that you took the time to comment despite the frustration this has caused. Thank you very much.
