Friday, October 4, 2013
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month!

So it's time to take a break from Black and Orange and all spookiness...

And think about something that really is spooky....breast cancer.

Now I'm not going to get all gloom on you guys...it's about awareness.  So for this month I'm only going to tell you once...

Get your screenings, do your self checks, and donate, run, walk, whatever for the cause.

Lecture over.....well done.

Now reward yourself for keeping care of your self and your fellow gal by making some of these cute and delicious drop cookies :)

Pink And White Chip Cookies

1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c dark brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
11 oz all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c pink M&Ms
3/4 c white chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350.

Beat your butter till soft.  Then add sugars and beat till well blended.  Add egg and vanilla.  Beat again till well blended.

In a seperate bowl, add your dry ingredients together and sift together by giving a quick stir with a whisk.

Add your dry ingredients to your wet and mix till blended together.

Add your chips and M&Ms.  Stir till dispersed.

Then using your cookie scoop, drop each cookie on to a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.

Cook for 8-10 minutes.

Let cool completely.  Then eat.

They're moist and fluffy and delicious.  :)
