Yes. It's been a while. Hopefully I'll get Christmas cookies up this year. There is really no telling and I'm not even going to pretend that I have any of this all planned and together,
So here is my random cookie enjoyment for the day,
I made these cookies a while back for a baby shower for a friends beautiful new baby boy

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello out there!!
Yes, I know, long time no see....read...whatever.
Let's catch up shall we? July last year I made a sudden move back to Texas (Howdy Y'all!). Got a job in commission sales,,,,new home sales to be exact...and I love my new job. Husband came back from his work in California and started school learning high end automotive tuning (I think that sounds right)....Sophie is in Kindergarten and John is just the sweetest funniest little guy EVER! (Naturally.... )
Anyway....I made these a while back....and it's nothing new....just a throwback to one of my earliest and most favorite designs...
These are Ecrandal lingerie cutters.....I have had this cutter for like 5 years at least now and it still looks practically new. Love these cutter. Love the shop. Love the people.
Anyway, back to life....
I am going to try really hard to get on here and do more posts...be more active. It's going to be hard....Full time job, husband, kids, new place...it takes up time. But hey, I'm back in Texas which means...
I CAN TAKE ORDERS AGAIN!!

Tutorial: Cutting Roses
Monday, August 19, 2013
We all know there's been a lot going on lately. Busy busy.... SO I thought to ease back into it all I would share a simple tutorial with you guys.
I know you've all seen me do these roses before....
Ok not THESE roses....but roses similar to them. Same shape that is. Of course I have decorated them a million and one ways. In fact this rose is my very first franken-shape. I didn't have a rose cutter that looked like I wanted. I wasn't thrilled with the cutters out there at the time either. Keep in mind this was like 4 years ago. Yep...I've been making these roses since the beginning....
Made these to send to my friend Kim while she was away at school

Mardi Gras 2013
Saturday, February 9, 2013
I like Mardi Gras. Granted, yes, I've never actually been to Mardi Gras....but I have a soft spot for it for some reason. Maybe because I have a soft spot for New Orleans and Louisiana in general.
Yes, there are flaws in New Orleans...I mean...Bourbon Street...kinda dirty and well... you know...
But the FOOD! The food is some of the best anywhere. And Louisiana is so beautiful. All those bayous and moss covered trees....old homes...wildlife and water....
And did I mention food?
I basically go visit New Orleans (and Louisiana in genreal) just to eat. I used to go visit my sister while she was in LSU. Last time I was in Louisiana actually was when she graduated... I've been running short of valid excuses to get my fat happy butt back....
Anyway... Mardi Gras right?

Mayan 12-12-12
Monday, December 3, 2012
I'll get straight to it.
My very good friend (and Cookie Con roomie) Pam gave us all some beautiful new cutters while we were at Cookie Con. And then she asked some of us if we would come up with some creative uses for her new homespun tree cutter.
I love Pam, so naturally I said....ALI BEE IS GO!
I thought about it for a long time. An finally I came up with a design that has NOTHING to do with Christmas!
Because I'm a kook like that.
Nope, instead it has to do with THE END OF THE WORLD!
Festive huh?
